ABOUT Mike Campese

Mike Campese is a guitar virtuoso. An all-around music performer, he is a session artist competent in many musical styles, on electric and acoustic guitar. Mike is a very versatile musician; he writes vocal and instrumental arrangements which he records and performs live. He has been featured in and has written for national guitar magazines such as Guitar World, Guitar One, and Guitar Player. Currently, he has his own monthly column in Italy's Axe Magazine. Mike also writes lessons for several online sites such as Shred Academy and Premier Guitar, in addition to teaching many students.

Mike attended one of the world’s top guitar schools—Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, graduating with Honors. He studied with many great players such as Paul Gilbert, Scott Henderson, Norman Brown, Stanley Jordan, Keith Wyatt, and many more.

Mike was a member of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and received a gold record for his work. He appeared on the Jason Becker tribute CD Warmth in The Wilderness on the Lion Music label in Finland, which was an international release. Mike has performed and opened for many national acts such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Schenker, The B-52's, Lou Reed, KC and the Sunshine Band, Spin Doctors, Little Steven, Sebastian Bach, Dokken, Kip Winger, Joe Bonamassa, Iron Butterfly, Michael Angelo Batio, and many, many more. Mike also performed at Cruefest 2, which featured Motley Crue, Godsmack, Drowning Pool, Theory of a Deadman, Rev Theory, and more.

Mike has released 11 solo albums to date and performs his music nationally.
