What drumsticks do drummers use?
Many drummers use sticks with 5A or 5B thickness and a standard length of 16”. Most commonly, drummers use drumsticks made from hickory, since that’s the most popular wood choice, but you’ll also find maple and, occasionally, oak sticks. Often drummers use sticks with acorn-shaped tips, which may be made from wood or nylon.
