EVANS Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping system (EMAD) enables you to get the best tone from your bass drum — anytime, anywhere.
EMAD's innovative design allows instant adjustment of your drumhead's attack and focus, simply by placing whichever of the two included foam rings you prefer into the external sleeve. You can even leave the foam out and let the empty sleeve create a wide open, resonant sound, with just a touch of control. With EMAD, you're free to hone your tone whenever and however you want.
